I have about 10 hours on my 65ZT60, and all I can say is WOW. I have been using Mits DLP 73's for a few years, and went through 2 of the Sharp 80" LED's through BB, and both had cloudy screens and stuttering.
After reading many reviews of this set and Chad B mentioning it was his favorite panel, I decided to exchange the 2nd defective Sharp for this unit, even though I will have to get used to the smaller screen size, seeing that my primary sitting position is about 18' away.
The fans on my unit(after 10 hours of use) are dead quiet. I know they are running, as they are blowing heat out, but in a dead silent room, I put my ear right up to them and hear the slightest whirring sound, but that's it..I hope that does not change. There is also no vertical line on the right side on a grey screen either.
I am using the c-net settings right now. just amazing....colors pop and skin tones are the most realistic I have ever seen. dark scenes on Blu-Ray look like someone dumped an ink well onto the screen. whites are so white, they stand out on the screen-not something I have ever noticed on a tv before.
granted, this is a short time on the set, but I am over the moon with what I am seeing.
going to start running the slides tomorrow during times when we are not watching content....
