the 60" ZT and 65" VT were very similar in price at that point. So, it was size vs performance in my mind.

The ZT is only available in the 60" size in Europe. Is this the case with the VT as well?

I'm wondering if retailers stocked any 60" VTs at all. And considering the 60" ZT was competing against a 65" VT--similar PQ but for probably a similar price--it's no surprise there are still ZTs to be had.

So the choice was between a 65" VT & a 60" ZT? Puzzling. I love the ZT but if those are the options I think I'd opt for the increased real estate, even if it meant I wouldn't get a gold card in the product brochure.

Thanks. Close, they are paradigm studio 100 and cc-690 all v5's in piano black. Wish I could afford the signatures :-)

I've only noticed it at very close distances (i.e. 1-2 feet) and only in certain situations (i.e. darker content). YMMV

TY-ER3D4MU

They're like the battery powered model but they're rechargeable & the arms block a bit more light.

Thanks for confirming that. So even though specs on some sites like BB don't say ZT60 they work just fine because they adhere to the standard?

There are 3 movie watchers in my family so I bought the TY-ER3D4MU based on Katzmeier's recommendation. They work just fine, identical to the sets that some with the ZT--hard to tell them apart in fact--but, like I said, they block a little more light. I overpaid for bought them at Best Buy btw.

Cheers.

I sold the Dune and now have the Popcorn A400 as I really wanted a player to play 3D. The Popcorn is a great player although the movie wall took a lot of setting up and tweaking before I finally got it spot on.

The Blacks, Motion, Colours, Contrast are just amazing. One worry I had about the ZT was its peak brightness but it can actually go very bright so no worries there what so ever.

The wife and kids have been glued to the screen all night with the jaws hitting the floor so it must be good lol.

There's a sticker in the middle of the back panel that tells you the month & year. You can determine the actual date using the serial number.
