Folks I have a Vizio 70inch E701i-A3 LED/LCD that I'm not thrilled with.. Picture is great if the scenes are outside. However if they are night shots or dark in door shots the Black Pixelation drives me crazy.. I've owned nothing but plasmas so this is the first LED in my house. I'm sold on PLASMA..

I've seen great reviews on the P65ST60 and good reviews on P65S60. Some of differences I've noted for the ST60: Better screen for reflection, Smart Features 3 HDMIs and 3D. I'm sure there are others...

I can control the light in the family room,
I only care about utube and Amazon smart feature,
I can get by with 2 HDMI port
I don't care about 3D

With these considerations, is getting the ST60 still the better choice over the S60 if the $600 difference is not an issue?

I have the S64 from Costco. It has the AR of the ST and the panel is the same as an S60 .So its kinda in between. The blacks may be a shade darker due to the inherently better panel(infinite vs. infinite pro filter) on st models but its just a shade ...depends also on how critically you look .The AR filter works well unless you have light hitting the tv directly.

Also the ST has more lag time (slower response) if you game a lot that might be a consideration as well....

Good luck deciding!!

I just went thru the same process and bought the ST.

figured for the extra cash, spread out over 5 years....

Plus there is a rebate for a free pen(see panny website) if you buy the ST. It's a $79 value.
