Apologies in advance for a dumb question ...

I have a TX-P50VT50B connected to a SC-HTB550E sound bar - I didn't wire it up and the wiring is behind a false wall. If I hit the AV button on the remote I get 3 options:

- HDMI1[Sound Bar]
- TV
- SD Card/USB

If I connect to say HDMI2 I expected to see it listed above .... but I get nothing. I guess that I just expected it to work & am a bit flummoxed as to what can be wrong. Hopefully it's something obvious smile.gif ? Can anyone help?

The TV may hide inputs not available (no signal.) This may be possible to disable in the menu somewhere.
