Hi All,

A couple days ago my 2 year old Samsung PN43D490 died via "the click of death" so I decided instead of trying to fix to get the LG 42PN4500 which was on sale.

What I really liked about the Samsung was I was able to plug in a USB stick and play videos off of it. I tried on the LG and no luck. It seems to only support Audio/Pictures.

I've seen there is a hack to enable the video option but most of that seems to be geared older models. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the newer ones like mine?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the reply. It's the LG i'm looking to be able to play the video files on. It's the Samsung I had no issues with.

I did figure out I can use my PS3 though and a USB stick with a quick conversion of the video file if necessary. Would like to just be able to plug the USB into the LG but this will work for now.
