My 2007 42" Panasonic had an excellent anti-glare screen. I picked up a cheap replacement, the Samsung 43" plasma but the reflections on it in our room are really bad. I want to stick with plasma but I'm searching online I'm not finding any that are listed with any type of anti-glare screen. When I bought back in 2007 it was clearly listed as a feature. Since I didn't see that listed in any now, I figured all plasmas have it. Either they don't or it is nowhere near as good as my 2007 Panny. Can someone recommend to me a current plasma with a good anti-glare screen? Thanks!

The ST/VT/GT/ZT Panasonics seem to have them.

The S Panasonics seem like they don't.

Haven't looked much into the Samsungs, but IIRC the F8500 does.

Here's a little hint: take a pair of *polarized* sunglasses with you when shopping. Hold them vertically when looking at a screen, and ones that have the anti-glare feature to the degree you probably want will look dim and bluish. Be aware that displays with this type of filter don't tend to look the very best, but I understand the anti-glare takes preference for some locations. In fact, manufacturers have gone to great lengths to not have to resort to this type of filter, so that's why you're probably not seeing so many in consumer showrooms, but they're definitely common for "industrial" apps. For this reason too, another hint is to look for one that's not 3D capable.
