Ok here's the deal... I currently have a 60" f5500 plasma and it's going back because of pentile display. I love everything about this tv colors blacks 3d is surprisingly entertaining as we'll as great input lag. since I have the chance to start over ill probably go with a 50" this time due to the 50" f5500 not using the pentile pixel layout. There's only one problem with this tv I don't like that I think I can live without.... It doesn't have motion smoothing? Does anyone on here even use that for their tvs on here? I can only see it being useful for sports and maybe games. The first tv I was gonna go with was the st60 but loved the smart features of samsung and the Bluetooth remote also price. The st60 apparently has way better blacks and motion smoothing but not so good input lag. Should I just stick with the 3Xms response time of the samsung or spend the extra 150 on the st60 50" for better blacks and higher response time? Another tv I was looking at is the 55" 7100 samsung... I just need some suggestions from people to make my decision easier and maybe input from people that have tested both. This will also be used to play a lot of PC games mostly with controller .

On a side note I went to best buy about a month ago and went into the theater room where they had a 8500 8000 and a higher end panasonic plasma.... As soon as the lights went off I paid no attention to the 8000 as the blacks looked grey (liked pretty blacks looked black on the floor display, maybe this was a calibration error) and the plasmas looked 10x better with blacks and shadows so I immediately said I'm defiantly getting a plasma and purchased a 8500. Turns out the 8500 was open box so I returned it and there were no 8500's in town so I ordered the f5500 which has a similar brightness of the 8500 and damn near same pic quality, just the 8500 was less reflective... Let me know what you guys think and feel free to ask me any questions about the 2 Samsungs:D a I purchased

A 64" f5500 would be amazing lol it the price jump.... The pentile display is clearly noticeable and amazon took it back for free anyway so I just gotta decide which I wanna go with.... Only thing that kills me with tv is no motion smoothness... I mean it is great for porn biggrin.gif
