My TV is a Panasonic TC-P50UT50. The 3D glasses I have for it are model TY-ER3D4MU.
I bought the TV 14 months ago. A week ago, the TV stopped working. It wouldn't turn on. I have an extended warranty through the store I bought it, so I called them. The red light on the TV would blink 8 times. The repair company ordered a replacement power board and replaced it. It works fine now, except...
I can't get my 3D glasses to sync with it. I have two pairs. We used them maybe 1 month ago and they both worked fine. Now neither pair will sync. They just flash green and red. The store says that my TV works so this isn't covered under the warranty and to contact Panasonic. I did that. They had me try a number of things and still nothing.
Do any of you have any idea? I know they work using bluetooth but I can't figure out how to test to see if that's working on my TV.
I did that again this evening and the first screen is the "self check" screen and it has everything listed as OK except for BT which has a red "01" after it. From another panasonic tv's manual that I found, that means there's an absence of bluetooth. So I called Panasonic again and the guy had no clue about the 01.
In any case, I doubt both your pairs of glasses would stop working suddenly. Don't see why this wouldn't be covered under your warranty.
