I have a TC-P50GT25 as well as an older Samsung plasma. I have monoproce hdmi cables connected to a variety of sources (360/ps3, dish hopper, appletv). I followed the break in and calibration procedures here on AVS for the Panasonic. On both and from all sources, in high contrast situations, the a darker color area *'bleeds'* horizontally.

Expected:

Actual:

I've tried every image tuning trick I can think of with no luck. Is this just inherent to plasma technology?

Yes, some plasmas inherently have issues with horizontal line bleed. There's nothing to fix. I have a GT25 myself and actually find it to be fairly mild on this set compared to earlier models.

My PN60F8500 does that too...
only when displaying some really bright content with a light background like the system controls..

dont see it at all when viewing tv/ playing a game.
