Has anybody had issue with burn in or image retention (IR) on Samsung F8500? Thinking of buying this set, but my wife watches lots of Indian channels, and most of these channels have fixed logos which may cause burn in or IR.

nope, nothing at all so far. just be sure to mix it up. I use mine as a computer monitor as well, but I use it a lot so it gets plenty of chance to clear up any IR from a few hours of web-surfing

watched a 2 hour CNN program with a VERY BRIGHT red CNN logo - no issue at all!

No other issues from any other program either
