I'm wanting to sell my Kuro 5020fd but I'm not sure how much its worth since they are discontinued now. Everything works perfect, and it comes with the stand and speaker and everything else. The main reason I'm wanting to sell it is to upgrade the size. I'm wanting a 60" now and I'm thinking about going the zt60 route. Is this a good upgrade for you experienced folk? Thanks a lot for the help.

I have the 5020 and was curious about that too. Not planning to sell. Looking on ebay there are three 5020's listed. Ranging from $700 to $3600. Here on AVS in the for sale section, one with the elite board for $999 and another for $2900 new in the box. So, I guess it comes down to a wild guess.

What's a little more applicable are auctions that have already completed and have successfully sold. In the last 90 days, one PDP-5020FD sold for $831 back in October, which seems about right for a panel that still holds up well against the competition.

The PDP-5020FD --> ZT60 upgrade path should be satisfying to you, Beaverking.

yeah, ha, that's what I was thinking but was hoping somebody would have some sharper estimation. I'm also wondering also on the zt60 vs. the f8500. I've seen so much back and forth, I'm not sure which is top dog.

I guess I should also state what conditions and how I use the tv. In the day we have thick blinds and it keeps it decently dim and only watch a little in the day on days off. 75% is done at night. Also 75% of tv use is bluray and hd tv and 25% or so gaming. My family is also very interested in the 3d aspect. So based on this is it better to go zt60 or f8500? Looking in store on a messed up display in bright lights doesn't help.
