I was taking a look at Costco's TVs today and saw this particular model. I have a Panasonic s64 that has been great and plasma has already won me over, but has anyone had any experience with this line of Samsung plasmas? I'm considering picking this up for my parents who have been having a lot of problems with their Vizio LED.

The lack of smart TV features is not an issue. =)

I just bought one of these a few days ago for that same $850 price at my local Costco. I started with these settings in another thread for the F5300 and made some very minor adjustments. So far so good! I'm hoping they drop the price within the next 90 days to get an adjustment. The comparable F5300 model was on sale yesterday at Best Buy for $800.

So far, I am pretty happy with this F5350 that I bought from Costco about a week ago. Aside from the glare and faint buzz, it's very nice.

I had ordered that F5300 from Best Buy last week when it was on sale for $800. Factoring in rewards certs and so on, it comes out to a net of $105 less than what I paid for the F5350 from Costco. Since the two units are identical (aside from the 50 in the Costco model number), do you think I should return the Costco unit for the BB TV? Some hassle with the swap, but it is over $100 savings.

FYI...Costco has the F5350 60" on sale this week (though 2/1) for $749.99 after $100 instant rebate. Just took my receipt there and got the $100 credit. Woohoo!

$750 seems like a great deal for this TV. My local best buy had an open box one for around this price.

It appears to be back on sale at Costco.  At least here in Columbus, Ohio.  They had several of them at the Costco at Easton (none at Polaris) for $749.  If this set has any energy saving features (and I am not sure if it qualifies) then you can get a $25 rebate from AEP (our local electric provider).  I am trying to decide between this or a 55" LG or a 55" Samsung.  The plasma is actually about $100 less than either of the LED/LCD models.  As noted it has no smart features.....which is fine as I use a Roku.

is the 51 inch on sale too?  it's regularly $599 at Costco.  been waiting for it, or the 5300 ($649) to drop a bit.

Sorry khr77, didn't notice those sets.  I wasn't looking for anything smaller than a 55.
