I have a Panasonic Plasma TC-P65VT TV and it recently has developed a problem that I was wondering if anyone has experienced. I purchased the TV in December 2011.

Problem: After having the TV on for a while the TV just shuts down where the picture completely turns off; I can hear the power switch turning off and then after about 15 seconds the TV turns back on and is OK for a while. Last night the TV did this about 6 times within an hour.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what causes this or how to correct it? I plan on calling service repair but if this is a simple problem I’d rather correct it myself.

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

Michael

VT30 I guess, before a call for service I'd try unplugging it from the power strip(?) for a little bit and maybe disconnect all the other cords at the same time. Then maybe plug it directly into the wall or and extension cord from another room. Also try turning off vierra connect, something else can be turning it off. Maybe there's a tv reset that can be done.
