he makes a good point though, they didn't really clarify what the number of plasma sales were. a 200% increase could still have plasma as a small portion of that 3mil TV's ordered.

I do hope that the threat of the end will push some consumers that have been waiting to show their support of plasma by 'buying one while they still can' and show companies there's still a market for them, even if it is small. choice is always better than no choice, and I'd like to be able to choose plasma at least until oled becomes more viable for me.
