Lg 50pj350 advice

Hi guys my tv is about 4 years old and has started to show a red vertical line down the middle then after about 15mins goes black then goes away? Was wondering if it was the main board or the buffer boards? Does it on all sources. Thx in advance

While the line is on the screen, bring up the Tv menu. Is the menu affected by the line?

Usually you would try the buffer board (the one that lines up with the position of the vertical line). If that doesn't help then it's a bad PDP Panel.

Intermittent vertical line in order of probability:
- Loose connector for that part of panel
- Contamination in connector
- Bad panel
- Bad C/X-buffer board (N.B. Not same as X-main/Z-sustain extension board if present)

Hi all not sure if im posting in the correct place but im needing some advice,
I have an LG 50PJ350 with a damaged screen (PDP50T1000) and i have seen an LG 50PK350 on Fleabay quite cheap
My question is would the panel from the 50PK350 be a suitable replacement for the damaged screen in my 50PJ350.

thanks for any advice

The 50PK350 is a FullHD 1080p TV. The 50PJ350 is a 720p TV. The panels and parts are not compatible.
