TH-50px80u Stolen!!!

Last night my baby was stolen! My house was broken into, and they got the TV! I bet they don't even know what they've got. Please tell me how much I've lost. I was thinking it was worth about 500 bucks at this point but looking at this forum it seems I may have lost something much more valuable than i had realized. Judging by amazon prices the used ones are going for around a thousand. My blood is starting to boil about this the more I think about it. Obviously being broken into is somewhat scary and unnerving to begin with, and now thinking about this is worse. I'm just glad i wasn't there i guess...cheers guys...

A 50PZ80 is a fairly old TV, it has very good brightness and average contrast ratio. I would not imagine more than about $450 USD, and that is a high estimate.

Oh really? Very interesting. I am about 6 years removed from all this i almost bought a new model about a year and a half ago and now I'm really wishing I had. Anways yeah i saw the only two of model listed on amazon going used for around 1300 i thought absurd but then i guess i don't know like I said I've been out of the market for quite a little while...Was there a huge advance in technology or craftsmanship between the Panasonic plasmas built and released in 08 compared to say 2011 and beyond? Thanks for any feedback guys
