Worth it?

I'm not in the market but I'm wondering if this TV is worth the price they're asking.

That's a pretty good price for panasonic's ST50 plasma especially since it's hard to get and usually you will find deals online for 50% more.

It's worth it, I would recommend you buy it if that's your budget.

I would have said this if it were the ST60, the ST50 however is 2 years old and not in the same class as last years ST60. Not sure if pay that much for a 55ST50 when you can get a 64" F5300 (when available) for around that price.

Yea, the TV has been there for at least 3 weeks, and if it was a ST60 I probably would have bought it.

i agree. great price for an st60. but for an st50, it's a bit higher than i think its worth.

is that a sears? there was another poster a couple days ago asking about an 55" st60 refurb for sale as sears for 600. imo, that's a way better deal!

How is that TV even still there? Did they lose it in a warehouse in late 2011/2012 and just pull it out to see if it would sell?

I good tv, not anywhere near the same as the ST60 however. If it were 699-749 ish.. yep.. I'd buy it. Over $850 and no thank you.

I saw a 65" ST60 open box / floor model at my local HH Gregg last month for $1200. It wasn't turned on, so I couldn't check for burn in, but I considered that a pretty decent price assuming there was no burn in.
