I know I've seen the suggestions for wall mounts before and I've tried searching but can't find it. Sorry abt this.....I should of copied the info.

I'm looking for a tilting wall mount that doesn't stick out too much from the wall....I'm planing to install my 5070 on top of the fire place. I prefer a black to match the plasma but silver is fine too. I don't want to spend more the ~$100.

thanks guys.

Someone is going to recommend Monoprice....I can feel it....

However, RomanInvision has a good suggestion on Peerless. Also check out the Sanus VMPL50. Also K2 Mounts K3 should be another good suggestion.

thanks guys.

the VMPL50 states that "mere 2-1/2" from the wall" Is this means that 4.5" tv + 2.5" mount....so the panel will be sticking out about 7inchs from the wall ?? Is this best I coud get ?

I can' t seem to find out the same spec on the Peeless though

Is there anything wrong with the Monoprice unit, as I was thinking of ordering one for my upcoming 5070? I have been very satisfied with their cables in the past. Thank You in advance.

^^^ I saw one of those at BB today-Holy Crap those things are heavy duty. I think this is the mount I'm going with, it is 2.5" with the tilt bracket, and only 1.25" as a flat mount. Best of both worlds in one mount. A little pricey though.

or since you are now a 5070 OWNER, you could have and should have asked the question in the 5070 owners thread here:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=727758

the question has been asked 300 times in that thread...

the unnecessary new threads continue....

Try monoprice or Laplasma on ebay. About $50 to the door.

Yes, pointing someone to a 175 page thread that has info on much more than wall mounts is the PERFECT solution to make the forums run smoothly. Especially when the OP's questions are being answered by forum sponsors. Some people take this website way to serious.
