from owner's manual:

TH-50PHD6UY should use TY-ST05-K;
TH-50PHD7UY should use TY-ST05-K or TY-ST07-K;
TH-50PHD8UK should use TY-ST07-K or TY-ST08-K

since both TY-ST05-K and TY-ST07-K are discontinued, from above can I assume TH-50PHD6UY may use TY-ST08-K? can someone confirm this?

All the Stands you mentioned will work on ANY Panasonic Commercial 37" / 42" / 50" Displays.

Hi...

I realize that this is a very old thread ... I have a similar problem though. I have a TH-50PHD7UY and need a pedestial stand. According to the Panasonic hotline the TY-ST08-K will not work and I need the TY-ST07-K which is no longer available.

Can you confirm that the TY-ST08-K worked on your series 6 screen? If it does then I figure it'll also work on the Series 7 screen.

ciao,

Cybertoy

Trust Bruzzi over the Panasonic hotline, they will all work as indicated in his link. Trust me, I use a six-year-old TY-ST05-K stand on my 10-series 50" UKA.

If you look through owner's manuals and brochures, you will see that the post and hole spacing is identical for all series of panny industrial models. The owner's manuals change and will not list discontinued products, that doesn't mean the old ones won't work.

Consider yourself confirmed.

Please post your Panasonic plasma's post and hole spacing.
I have an unused Panasonic pedestal from I believe the 2006 50PX60U consumer model, it might fit? I can measure the dimensions of it for comparison.

Recent consumer stands will NOT work for the pro models. The post spacing is the same width, but the holes for the screws are not in the same place and, more importantly, the "pegs" on the consumer stand flare out at the bottom, so the industrial model plasma will not seat fully on the pedestal (there will be a ~1inch gap between the base of the bezel and the pedestal stand).

I owned a 600U model and now own a 10UKA and I can confirm that this is correct.

AFAIK, only the older consumer stands listed on the Bruzzi link will work with the industrial models, they differentiated the products at some point a few years ago.

well i can tell you that the plastic silver duckfoot stand from the PX60U will not fit any Industrial model. The upright posts are completely different with different hole spacing, and there is no support bridge.

What are the list of models it would fit, beyond the PX60U series?
The pedestal's model number is: TBL2AX00051

Guys - I have a similar question & would appreciate anyone's help. I have a Panasonic TH-42PD25 - about 4 years old - and the manual says I need a TY-ST42PA20 stand. I can't find any - and wonder if a TY-ST08-K will work? Thanks.

IIRC, those two stands are physically identical, with the exception that the TY-ST08-K is all black where the PA20 has some silver accents.

I can confirm Randy's post.

TY-ST42PA20 = TY-ST08K except for color.

Realize this is an old thread BUT............

I have a TH-50PHD7UY that's coming off the wall and I need a pedestal. Anybody have an old TY-ST07-K they want to unload?

Will a TBLX0092 work in a TH-50PHD7UY?

Thanks.

No. None of the consumer model stands from 2005 to present will fit into a Pro monitor despite what some of the Ebay sellers claim. The posts are different and the spacing is different.

Premier makes a universal pedestal base that utilizes the monitor's wall mounting holes:

I have an open box TY-ST08K pedestal type (not duckfeet like the ST07)
and a consumer item from that era that can take the Pro posts. This one has some scratches and is a lighter charcoal gray than the Pro.

PM if interested, I'll have to add you as a contact first.

Hello

Reviving an old thread here.
I have a Panasonic TH-42PHD6 that is coming down from being wall mounted and, like others have posted, I am finding that table top stands for these models are very hard to come by.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction for finding one. New or used does not matter, as long as it is in good enough shape and fits the monitor (don't care what shape it is - st05 vs st08 ).

Thanks!!

Hi all,

Bumping this thread.

My TH-50PH9UK is coming down from the wall but like everyone I'm having trouble finding a stand. If anyone has one to sell, would appreciate if you can contact me.

Thanks for the help!

Bumping yet again. Seems this is a popular problem to have.

I own a TH-50PHD8UK that's coming off the wall, so I'm looking hard for either a TY-ST07-K or TY-ST08-K pedestal stand. Any luck here? Thanks.

Welp got a stand for my TH-50PHD7UY - unfortunately the posts are the correct posts for my unit. I have the issue so eloquently explained by BatPig. If anybody has some old pegs for an Industrial screen please let me know.

Otherwise I'm about to take these poles and let them talk to my grinder for awhile.
