Here we go,
In my office on my desk, I've got the Monoprice 4x1 switch running into my Samsung Syncmaster 2494HM. I have a DirectTV receiver, MBP (via DVI-HDMI), and occasionally a WDTV. These all work great with regular Monoprice 24 AWG 6' HDMi cables.
I know the RED print on Monoprice said I needed ATLEAST 22 AWG cables for optimal connection. I figured I would take the chance, and when I received it and hooked it up with the devices listed above, there were no problems whatsoever. Now I recently acquired another Xbox 360, and suddenly this switch is not working so well. It turns on but It seems that there are 'sparks' of pixels on top of the image on the screen. Is this a problem with the switch? If I need a 22 AWG cables, where can I get a short one (Cannot find anything less then 15')? These devices are all with a couple feet of eachother, so a 15' cable would be impractical.
BTW the 360 works perfect directly connected to the monitor w/ any of the cables.
