I found two cables in my stuff and I'd like to know if they are "HDMI standard" or "HDMI high-speed". I've listed the markings below.

(a) E210567 AWM 20276 80C, 30V, VW...
The cable is only 20 cm long, so "VW..." is truncated, perhaps VW-1

(b) E119932 AWM Style 20276, 80C, 30V, VW-1 HDMI 1.3 Cable
This one is about 1.2 m long. I know the HDMI labelling standards, so I know there's no such thing as 1.3 cable - I'm just quoting what I see on the cable.

There are no other markings on the cable, not even brand names.

So - high-speed or standard? Do you have to look up the E... number to know or is there an easy way to tell the difference?

Thanks.

Most HDMI cables that short will handle high speed signals whether they are rated that way or not. You can always try them. It will be quite apparent if they don't work properly.

No way to tell from what is printed on them. All those numbers are related to the UL classification of the wire and don't have anything to do with its performance as a HDMI cable.

Like Crutschow said, try them. If you don't get sparkles or worse, you are good to go, even if they aren't certified high speed.
