So I bought a new house, and the built in AV rack has an existing coax and composite run to the TV, but thats all. Obviously this does me no good. I bought a Intelix HDMI over Coax Transmitter and Receiver and while they get the job done, I'm not stoked about the quality of my picture (it says 1080p, but not what bit) It also cant transmit 480 - so when I turn on my DVD player, I get no picture. I can get a few friends and run this nightmare of a Cat6 run, but before I do it, I want to make sure it's worth it. I was looking at the Atlona AT-HD4-100SR High Speed HDMI Over Single CAT5/6/7 Extender Kit. Does anyone know anything about it, and if my signal will be better over Cat6 than Coax? It sports these specs:
With Bi-directional IR and RS232
Transmits 1080p @48-bit to 330 ft (100m)
Compatible with HDMI 1.4
Full HD and 3D Support
Supports 480i/p, 720p, 1080i/p, 2k, 4k
DVI 1.0 and HDCP 1.2 Compliant
Dolby TrueHD & DTS 7.1 Compliant

Any help would be appreciated.
