Hi! I just bought a Sharp lc-52le832u. Everything looks good and the images are calibrated. I've had no issues whatsoever connecting online via wireless Internet or to my PS3, but I can't connect to my laptop (HP Intel:TM2 Duo CPU T5850). That's not a young laptop, but it still has a HDMI port. The HDMI cables I have HDMI from both sides (no DVI-Conversions). When I change inputs to access the HDMI port that I've connected to my PC, I get no image and no audio. It's as if nothing is reading.

I suppose it could be that my cables no longer work I feel like I'm missing something, but not sure what.
Thanks for the help!

You might have to enable the external monitor on your laptop. The manual usually tells you how to do this.
