I was woundering what would happen if I used some high speed HDMI cables on my LG 52LBX TV? It doesn't support ARC and its not a 3D TV. I was looking at getting a sony soundbar.

It would work.....unless it didn't. HDMI cables are backwards compatible.

I use High Speed HDMI cables on my system and it is neither 3D or supports ARC. Works just fine.
