I have a HDMI source in landscape mode, I need to convert it to portrait to fit correctly the TV (for digital signage). The source can not perform the rotation. Can some processor or external device can do this?

Is the HDMI signal HDCP encrypted?

Try something like this:

Basically what you want is a image signal processor that can work in the digital domain.

Install Display devices that are designed for Digital Signage and can work in portrait mode with no requirement for external processing.

Displays not designed to be hung in portrait mode can overheat!
