I'm still having some issues with my NAD 747 + PS3/XBOX. I'd like to fix this using a HDMI splitter + connector box.

I found the setup of a forummember.

Offcourse i have seen the cheap HDMI splitter boxes but they all seem to suffer the same issue - no EDID spoofer so i would lose surround (since my projector does not allow anything it). Unfortunately i can't get the proven-working splitter. (I'm from Europe).

I'm looking for the best way to do this setup.

A splitter + switch box as above - disadvantage is 2 more devices in the wiremess behind my reciever.

A Matrix 4x2 - but can matrix switches be used as a splitter - or is it one output only?

An alternative solution would be to grab a dvdo edge - it has an audio only output and 5 inputs + i currently use an iscan hd which could be replaced (and sold to cover the difference)

Is there a reliable European site to order these parts? Currently i can't seem to find any site which specifies edid spoofing etc.

I use this one: nSplitter Pro QS. It seems to do everything what you need.

A 4x2 Matrix with EDID Management will allow you to set the Source devices to the audio stream you want to send to your AVR.

What’s the problem you are encountering with the NAD AVR?
