HAS ANYONE used a monoprice 'redmere' high speed cable at or above 30ft with success? And can you mix non redmere cables with this AND the Darblet??? Just wondering b/c my 35 ft slow speed cable is having some issues with blurays.

No such thing as "slow speed" cable - it's called a "standard speed cable". As I mentioned in the other thread, try 1080i with Deep Color off. If that works, it is likely bit errors.
