It would likely be HDMI 2.0 and not HDMI 1.5. Spec was supposed to be available in mid-2012 but still is not available.
Only other thing I can add is that DisplayPort is now has a faster max speed (17gbps) and can handle UHD (4K) at 60Hz. That reportedly has some HDMI folks concerned.
I should also point out that last night I saw (at a restaurant) a DirecTV HD receiver hooked up to a HDTV with all the right HD cables. They were using it to show ESPN standard definition even though the HD version was available. Many people can't tell the difference between SD and HD, let alone trying to justify a UHD picture (which has no content) versus HD. So, I'm not sure that the HDMI spec writers need to rush their decision too much.
