Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum therefore I apologize for breaking any rules beforehand. So i've got the phillips 6007k which imo is a pretty badass piece of middle range kit. I've got this thing hooked up to my pc directly via HDMI. The problem is that I can only output the image in 60hz for some reason....

I've checked all the settings from the PC side such as drivers etc and all seems fine. Maybe its just me but when I play a movie off a usb stick the motion is noticeably smoother....

Any advice would be appreciated...

First of all that your TV upconverts signal to 400Hz doesn't mean anything with HDMI. The signal going into the TV is either 60 frames (or fields) per second or 24 frames per second. The 400Hz is all done inside the TV and has nothing to do with the outside signal. Many of us don't like the 400Hz interpolation modes because the picture stops looking natural. You might try 120Hz or 60Hz in the TV menu and see if you like the picture better that way.

So you don't actually have any problem if all you are able to output is 60Hz (and 24Hz) to the TV.
