35 to 40 foot HDMI run what should I do?

Like the title says I have a run that needs about 40 feet of hdmi cable. Should I buy a 40 foot HDMI cable or a HDMI cat6 extender? My new room doesn't have room for my gaming computer next to the tv so I need to place it in the back of the room.

What are you going to push? If it's just 1080p then an active High Speed HDMI cable should work. If you're going to be pushing 4K HDR, then you may have to consider fiber for reliability. Whatever you run, it would be very helpful to run it in a conduit (1.5" - 2.0") for future cable upgrades, and be mindful of bend radius.

I bought a 50ft DTECH fiber optic HDMI cable that supports 4K 444 60fps for playing 4K HDR gaming, and it's one of most amazing thing I ever got!

'Over CAT Extender' vs. Fibre - the problem for the Extender solutions is they have to apply image compression of some form or other with the higher bandwidth signals.

Fibre HDMI vs. Hybrid Fibre HDMI - both can cater for all current signal formats (confirm the Spec of any cable you are considering). Hybrid are simpler to install (no external Power required) and faster to handshake (the copper cables keep the HDMI handshake active).

Ruipro Hybrid Fibre - is what we supply and install.
