I have a problem when pausing standard dvd's Gladiator & The Fifth Element (superbit) with the LG-BH200. When pausing the text breaks up in subtitles or regular text such as a DVD title. This does not happen with HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. Outlines of faces or bodies become very jagged. LG does not have a clue and says to send the unit in for service. I stopped by BB and had them put the same disc (Gladiator) in a demo LG-BH200 and the same thing happened. Lowering the resolution t0 480p has no effect. Different displays make no difference (DLP & LCD). I stopped by OPPO to ask them and they said it was a 1/2 frame design they only saw on old dvd players. LG said the problem was not firmware version dependent (I have April). It appears LG feels this is not a major issue. I say it is inexcusable at this price point. I would appreciate any comments

I notice this as well when pausing DVDs, but they look great when playing so I don't see it as an issue.
