Hello All. Is anyone aware of a fix or work-around for the constant popping up of the multi-angle icon on this player? I am getting it on the "Star Trek:TOS Season One" discs. Thanks.

Whoa I just posted about the same problem. It's not ruining the experience for me, it's small, goes away quick, but I would just as soon it disappear altogether...

I wonder if other BR players have the option to turn that off. I looked up the manual for the Sony BDP-S350 online and found nothing about disabling the feature mentioned in it. I contacted LG via email and they asked me if it were happening on other discs. I reported back that I heard it was an issue with some Disney titles such as "Ratatouille" and that perhaps a firmware fix was required. Then somewhere in these forums I believe I read that the Ratatouille issue was corrected. In any case I will keep looking here for advice and, of course, let you know if I have any luck with LG.

Hmmm... on my Samsung, I can turn off "on-screen" displays, and this will stop the angle icon from showing... don't see a similar option on my BH-200 though...

I have this problem on one of the Genesis Concert DVD's put out a few years back. Drove me crazy trying to figure out what the noise was and why until I saw it happening when the "camera angle" icon popped up.

I am having the same problem with the New Star Trek Season One Disc. I downloaded the latest firmware 304A hoping that it would solve the problem. I think the way to get this issued resolved is to contact LG and explain the problem and have them add it to the next firmware update. Is there a process for doing this that anyone is aware of?

I can't believe there is not a way of just turning off all screen notices on this player. The BR industry seems content on letting software (BR Discs) govern much of the experience and allowing the Hardware (BD Players) just deal with whatever the disc manufacturers want.

I haven't noticed this yet with my BH200.

But I'll definitely contact LG about it if I can demonstrate it on my player.

I have the Star trek set so I can check for it on that.

Any tips for seeing it quickly?

Is the effect repeatable or random?

It happens every time there's a new FX shot. Which is, the beginning of every single episode. Pretty tough to miss.

Just add the JVC XV-BP1 to the list. Funny thing is, I was going to get the LG and didn't because of this problem. I bought the JVC instead and there it is.
