Probably not enough hi-rez audio enthusiasts out there for adding DVD-A/SACD to make economic sense. But hopefully if Denon does come out with a universal HD player, they - with their experience - could include hi-rez capability.
I'd like to know boot up time by comparison to the Toshiba HD DVD players or any of the Blu-ray standalones. I'm not expecting 360 add-on or PS3-level quickness, but if its significantly quicker than any of the units already out, that would be a big plus.
I have just returned my HD94 Pioneer player. This is a good player however I now feel that both formats are going to be around for at least the next 2-3 years. With the limited number of either releases you need to have a player that can do both just to have enough discs to watch. The new Samsung is just the product I need!
will this player be able to DECODE TrueHD, DTS-HD and DTS-MA?
I'm pretty sure it'll do True HD and DTS-HD but I'm less sure about MA.
It looks like in December we'll be able to choose from several MA capable players, so it would be stupid of Sammy to miss the boat...
