I don't have my Plazma yet, but I would like to get a BD-UP5000 when released. I have a Sony 32" XBR2 CRT with only S-video input. Would I be able to watch HD or BR discs until I get my Plazma? I know the BD-UP5000 has S-video output and I don't expect to watch in anything higher than my TV's native resolution, just wondering if it will even work? Or, will regular DVD's be the only discs that will work?
Thanks,
Tom

They will work and will be downconverted to 480i.

Are you really hearing a difference?
