Getting ready to leave for work...and will be listening to a LP > CD conversion of Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed. I have the LP and have a CD version but noticed a difference in the opening bar of "Monkey Man" and decided to see if converting LP to CD would sound better. Never did this before so I'm curious.
Got an ION turntable for Father's Day that comes with SW to convert A>D.
Not to hi-jack the thread but...
Anyone else done these transformations?
How did they come out?
SW make a huge difference in the conversion?

What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.
I was a deadhead, too, and I have that Dick's Picks. But jeez man you gotta feed those speakers something sweeter than that.
Dick's Picks Volume 9, 1990 MSG (~a year after I stopped touring in the late 80s...).
Yeah sivadselim, it isn't the best recording quality often, but I love the stuff... The nice thing is, despite the recording quality, the Salon2s are like a giant band-aid on the quality of the sound compared to other speakers I have owned.
Alice cooper along came a spider. Just got this today as its his new album can you belive this man is still on tour and making albums as well as playing as much golf as possible
Actually, it's amazing that he's even still alive, considering how he lived before he cleaned up his act. He had some level of cirrhosis at one point, although his liver may have regenerated to some extent by now.
Long time no debate! Chick Corea fan, huh?! Good stuff!
On the "Romantic Warrior" CD, Stanley Clarke plays the bass. If you are interested, Stanley Clarke does a rendition of Janet Jackson's "Funny How Time Flies". It's actually way better than Janet's version! That's not saying much, I know. It's on the "If This Bass Could Only Talk" CD.
It's a nice CD, if you're into acoustics. And with your system, I'm sure it will sound outstanding.
