What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.

Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears

Bought a couple racks of ribs, seasoned 'em up and just threw 'em on the grill in the oven. Ribs and Ozzy on this fine Presidents Day. George would be proud.

Amen. While my most favorite album of theirs is probably Revolver, I really like all of their work, especially the first few albums. Maybe it's because that's what I first heard and the rest just progressed from there, but I suspect it's because it's just some good old rock 'n roll music. After the breakup I think both John and Paul made comments that before the madness hit they started out as just a good little r&r band, and in those first few albums you certainly hear just that.

Last year I picked up a used USB Apple and copied the 24-bit remastered FLAC files to my NAS and that's how I listen to them on my home system now; The Beatles never sounded better! Wish I could have heard them live in a small club before the madness hit. Bet that sounded even better!

On that note . . .

Love that porky goodness. As AC/DC once crooned, have a drink on me. Which is a perfect segue for some Back in Black.

It's all instrumental, long jams. I assume you are familiar with Gov't Mule. I admit I'm just a casual fan of Gov't Mule. I like these jams but honestly, I prefer more of a mix of vocal numbers and jams. I don't mean to sound negative, because I enjoy this CD. In fact, after listening to it, I decided to buy tickets to their local concert.

have many gov't mule works. love warren Haynes. saw them the past 2 summers at a venue just minutes from my home.(great concerts) i'm with you, enjoy more mix of vocal and instrumental. thanks for your honest reply, this one seems more jazz oriented than their blues/rock works, guess i'll have to purchase
