Here's what I do - sounds involved, but it's actually pretty quick:

  • Google the album
  • Click "Images" across the top
  • Click on the thumbnail that best represents what you are listening to - please keep it under 500x500
  • Click "View Image" on right
  • Copy the image's web address from the browser's address bar
  • Quick Reply to this thread with artist name, album name, and source (vinyl, CD, download, etc..)
  • Click the little symbol across the top of the reply that looks like a postcard with a mountain in it
  • Paste the address copied from Google Images into the dialog box
  • Extra comments about the album always welcome!

Hope that helps!

Great 19020's style retro jazz and blues. Upbeat and fun. Big US tour underway, check-em out. We will in Boston this summer.

After you attach the image scroll down in the attachment management box to where you see the link to your pic, open it, copy the url and then use the mountain/sun image symbol to paste the image in....

The original 4:20 album.
Don't remember BS being all that popular among stoners....seemed more the pill+booze crowd at least in the early 70s in San Francisco....but then we had a lot of better local talent around, too.

That may be, but the opening track "Sweet Leaf" arguably sets the stage for what would become "Stoner Rock" - Kyuss, Fu Manchu, etc., both in theme and sound. Also, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, early BOC... but for me, it all boils down to Sweet Leaf.

I confess I stole this idea from Wikipedia, but can't argue with it.

How could a song from 71 set the stage in any way? Stage had long been set by then IMHO. Never heard of Kyuss or Fu Manchu....off to look 'em up.

Having nothing in common with the psyche Apple Corps. cover this is Milt Jackson on excellent vibes accompanied by the trio who had been playing together for a few decades. Cool jazz and vibes.....I'm there.
