Did you mean to use the word ruse? Refuses might have been a better choice. This is a recording from a 2008 performance. He recently signed a deal in 2014 to release a bunch of concert performances. I imagine he must have needed the money. Although, selling records isn't very lucrative for artists. Despite this, the performance is wonderful as you would expect from him.

Sounds like a must hear.
Yup. The first show on the tour of this line up, Fripp hadn't yet decided to call the band KC at this point and they're known as "Discipline". A fairly tolerable audience cassette that has been processed as best as can for this presentation; a "must hear" IMO. If there are any SBD shows from this tour I'd like to know.

As an aside, we saw this tour in Nov. '81.

ps I happened to be listening to it before the above post and forgot to mention that was my whole purpose in coming to the thread Think someone recently also was listening....great album.

It doesn't surprise me that a new subgenre has been created for these bands. Although, to me, they're not really heavy enough to be considered metal. They sound kind of emo or screamo.

great album one of my fav's. just wonder what would of become if jerry Garcia would of combined his 1972 great solo album effort with this same year solo album. imo could of been an outstanding "dead" album.
