Beautiful, sophisticated but danceable progressive house and melodic techno with lots of pads. Fret not, it is not of the "EDM" ilk!

You really get a journey on the 2nd disc. Stunning

Difford & Tilbrook are the songwriting team of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, known for their work as the principal writers for the new wave rock band Squeeze.

Difford & Tilbrook recorded and toured following the temporary break-up of Squeeze in 1982. That band reunited in 1985 after this self-titled album had been released from the pair. Many fans consider Difford & Tilbrook to be the "lost" Squeeze album.

By 1993 Difford and Tilbrook were the only original members left in Squeeze. Squeeze continues to be whatever rotating band membership assembles around the two songwriters.

Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams is a BoDeans album released in May 1986. The album title comes from the lyrics to the Rolling Stones song "Shattered." It reached number 115 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album was produced by T-Bone Burnett. The band was running up high studio costs and was forced to complete the album before they felt it was finished. Despite this, the band was happy with the album and it has often been regarded as their finest work.

In January 1987, a Rolling Stone reader poll voted them Best New American Band.

Music critic Mark Deming, writing for AllMusic, wrote of the album: "While this music was simple at heart, the BoDeans' passion and sincerity gave it strength, and T Bone Burnett's production allowed this band to sound as big as all outdoors. The BoDeans would enjoy greater success down the road, but they never made an album as powerful and satisfying as Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams, where their hearts and their guitars were in perfect sync."

The band had several singles in the top 40 mainstream rock charts. BoDeans has a permanent installation at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland.

Blood, Sweat & Tears is a contemporary jazz-rock American music group. They were originally formed in 1967 in New York City. The band is most notable for fusing of rock, blues, pop music, horn arrangements and jazz improvisation into a hybrid that came to be known as "jazz-rock".

The commercial and critical acclaim enjoyed by the band in 1969 culminated in an appearance at the Woodstock Festival, in which the band enjoyed headliner status. The Woodstock Movie camera crew even caught the band's opening number, "More and More", as they took to the stage. But the band's manager ordered the movie crew to turn off the cameras and leave the stage since the band had not agreed nor been paid to be filmed.

Greatest Hits was released in 1972, it was their last album to go gold.

Blood, Sweat & Tears had difficulty maintaining its status as a counterculture icon at a time when record company executives deemed this characteristic important as a tool to lure young consumers. This was compounded by the band going on a United States Department of State-sponsored tour of Eastern Europe in May/June 1970. Any voluntary association with the government was highly unpopular at the time and the band was ridiculed for it.

Back in Black is the seventh studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC, released on 25 July 1980.

In 1979, they paired with producer Mutt Lange and recorded their international breakthrough, Highway to Hell, their sixth studio album. On 19 February 1980, lead vocalist Bon Scott went on a drinking binge in a London pub that caused him to lose consciousness. The next morning, Scott was found unresponsive and rushed to a hospital where medical personnel pronounced him dead on arrival. The official cause was listed on the death certificate as "acute alcoholic poisoning" and classified as "death by misadventure".

The group brought in Geordie singer Brian Johnson, who impressed the band. Malcom Young called the singer to offer him the job, to his surprise. Out of respect for Bon Scott, the band wanted a frontman who would not be a mere imitator of him. In addition to his distinctive voice, demeanor and love of classic soul and blues music, the group liked Johnson's engaging personality. Johnson was officially announced as the new lead singer of AC/DC on 8 April 1980.

Rehearsals for Back in Black were cut to one week when an opening came up at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, in the Bahamas. Although they preferred to record their next effort in the UK, there were no studios available, and the Bahamas presented a nice tax advantage. Upon their arrival, the area was being hit by several tropical storms, wreaking havoc on the studio's electricity. In addition, their equipment was initially held up by customs. Johnson felt pressure during the process, having never recorded with the group. None of Scott's writings were used for the album's lyrics, as the group felt it would seemingly profit from his passing. Instead, Johnson penned the album's lyrics and melodies, while the Young brothers composed the music. Johnson reported having trouble adjusting to the environment, and even referenced the bad weather on the opening lines of "Hells Bells" ("I'm rolling thunder, pourin' rain. I'm comin' on like a hurricane. My lightning's flashing across the sky. You're only young but you're gonna die.").

Back in Black was released on 25 July 1980, less than half a year after Scott's death. According to Angus Young, the album's all-black cover was a "sign of mourning" for Scott. It became their best selling, most popular and critically respected album. Not only did it go to no. 1 on the Albums Chart, its success meant AC/DC were the first band since The Beatles to have four albums in the British Top 100 simultaneously.

The album was ranked #77 on Rolling Stone 's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by the English rock band the Beatles, released in 1969. The recording sessions for the album were the last in which all four Beatles participated.

The album's cover features the four band members walking across a zebra crossing outside Abbey Road Studios and has become one of the most famous and imitated images in the history of recorded music.

Paul McCartney suggested to the music producer George Martin that the group get together and make an album "the way we used to do it", free of the conflict that had begun following the death of manager Brian Epstein and carried over to the sessions for the White Album. There were frequent confrontations within the band, particularly over Paul McCartney's song "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", one of four tracks on which John Lennon did not perform.

During the sessions, Lennon expressed a desire to have all of his songs on one side of the album, with McCartney's on the other. Lennon wanted a traditional release with distinct and unrelated songs while McCartney and Martin wanted to continue their thematic approach from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by incorporating a medley. Lennon ultimately disliked Abbey Road as a whole and felt that it lacked authenticity, calling McCartney's contributions "[music] for the grannies to dig" and not "real songs" and describing the medley as "junk ... just bits of songs thrown together".

Although Abbey Road was an immediate commercial success and reached number one in the UK and US, it received mixed reviews, with some critics describing its music as inauthentic and bemoaning the production's artificial effects. Many critics now view the album as the Beatles' best and rank it as one of the greatest albums of all time. Rolling Stone magazine ranked it number 14 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Abbey Road remains the Beatles' best-selling album.
