Let me start off by saying I am completely new to home audio. The stuff was like chinese to me a few days ago before I started looking into it. I have a pair of infinity outrigger speakers, a onkyo m282 2 channel amp, and a Phoenix Gold VSS4 Speaker selection/volume control system with a mx1230 phoenic gold 12 channel amp. My church had recently moved and was going to upgrade their system so i could either sell or try to use. i tried looking up how to set up the 2 channel amp with the pair of speakers but dont i need a receiver. i planned on using it with a ps3. really need help, thanks

You still need some type of pre-amp (volume control) for that amp...
