Really happy with the Nova 150. It was more than double what I was hoping to spend, but my buyer's remorse wore off pretty quickly.
Did you have a Peachtree before going to the Nova 150. Just wondering how they compare.

I'm still waiting for the new 150 to arrive at my dealers to have a demo.

Cheers!

What would the benefit of a wifi module be over a Chromcast AUdio?

The ability to use the remote to pause and skip tracks alone would be worth it.

Chomecast Audio works well. From the lockscreen of your phone or tablet you can pause and skip tracks too, so that's easy enough. If the Nova 150 shipped with built in WiFi (it probably will eventually) then it means one less device I guess. But for now Chromecast Audio works really well and supports up to 24/96 music.

I used to have a long USB cord running from my computer to my Decco2. I've replaced that with a Chromecast Audio and finding it so much more convenient. I've also uploaded all of my music to Google (free) and use that for streaming purposes.

Who all has a 220se? I just ordered one and would love to hear your thoughts. I am coming from my 3rd Musical Fidelity A300 (love them so much I tend to go back after a few years). Speakers are Martin Logan Theos.

I have a 220SE and love it. I started with the original nova which I then upgraded to a nova125. I loved the 125 and thought I was done but then saw a special on refurbished 220se's and went that way. I don't think I'll be upgrading again anytime soon, unless its maybe to the nova300. I'm using it with a pair of Totem Hawks which, from what I read before getting them, like a lot of power. I can say that there is no shortage of power and control with the 220se. I also have a pair of Emotiva XPA-100 monoblocks that I used with their XDA-2 DAC/Pre for a bit with the Hawks. I think the 220se sounds a lot more musical, plus it looks great. I'm curious to hear your impressions of the 220se compared to the MF A300. Enjoy!

Hi David, question for you (or anyone else that can answer); I just picked up a used Nova (the original model) that has the Home Theater Bypass auxiliary inputs, i've never used that feature and am curious about using it with an AVR. So my dumb question is, when using this feature for say a 5.1 movie track, is the Nova acting like an external 2 ch amp and is powering the front L/R channels while the AVR is powering the Center and Surrounds? I was hoping I could integrate it into my main system for 2 ch music duty only and leave it off for movies and have the AVR run all 5 channels on it's own, but that's not how it works i gather, right?

I will def post up my thoughts! If it sounds as good with the huge power boost I will be one happy camper. I had a Wyred4Sound sti-500, which I was told by a PA rep was the same ICE chips as the 220. It was very accurate and very powerful but lacked life. I went back to my beloved A300. I'm hoping the improved DAC/Preamp on the 220 adds the musicality I can't live without.

Hi David! Long time Peachtree fan here. I've always had such great support from Peachtree - the support is unmatched to be honest. Even had many email replies from Andrew himself over the last few years.

Loving my 220se with GoldenEar Triton Ones and can't wait to demo the Nova 300 as soon as it's available.

Is Peachtree coming to the Melbourne, Australia show in October?

Cheers!
