I know, I know! it's a home theater setup but it is in fact a very nice 2 channel setup as well with full range (18-24khz) capability, huge soundstage and excellent imaging.

They have an industrial utilitarian look that I like. Of course, they are not for Living Rooms ... tongue.gif

BTW, there are a lot of very nice 2 channel rigs on this Thread. Real eye candy for audiophiles (real or imagined).

Been a looooong road following the iterations of you your theater rooms as it progresses through the years man. These look killer, far more attractive the the original JTRs you had before, and great look to the wall behind the screen there.

TV's ain't theaters buddy.

My junk collection.

Just got my new house so I unpacked all my audio gear into my Music room. This is not my final setup but I figured I would share. I'm going to work on wall treatment this summer.

Thanks for the comments and for taking the time to read through that mess of a thread. smile.gif

These are the first speakers since my Revels that I have wanted to hear and see. I am likely going to a powered AT screen in the near future. cool.gif

I believe you missed a pair; the first pic shows the L/R...and then 6 in "surround".

Carver C-1, Carver M-500t, Carver TX-11b, Technics RS-B48R, Sony CD, Dual 1257, and some B&W DM-2000s. Minus the Dual I purchased all of this for $350 including the full-grain maple case. My system was cheap until I purchased a couple Carver m1.5t's which should be coming any day now. The wire in the middle leads to some older B&W 610i speakers that I found in a dumpster in my alley which sound just dandy.AppleMark

Harman Kardon PA5800 Amplifier

Onkyo Integra 6-disc CD

JBL SVA1800 Speakers

Its all been moved to/from 5 different homes, from OH to MN and finally to FL, and it has managed to deliver an aural assault averaging 40 hours a week for the past 14+ years...

Funny you say aggressive as the JBL speakers I find anything but. They do require you tune up the room though but I have used them for mastering music, production, and blown away many a critic when comparing them to stuff that costs 5 times the cost or more in my studio.

Still using them and love em wink.gif

I've posted in here once but I've upgraded the "2ch" part of my set up, so I thought I would share. Upgrades consist of; a second XPA-2 now used as mono blocks for the mains, that's 860w of power on tap for the A9's now for explosive 2ch enjoyment biggrin.gif

And, the second upgrade is for when the neighbors aren't in the mood, a pair of Grado RS2i's.
