Gryphon Mikado Signature CD player
Moon P8.RS Pre-amp
Moon W8.RS Power-amp

Sonus Faber Amati Palladio speakers

Kit rack is set back from the speakers, rather than 'along 1 wall' so difficult to get it all in one regular photo......
Very nice

After seeing setups like that, I'm supposed to post pics of mine? No WAY!

But seriously, nice rigs folks.

I especially like my bookshelf diffuser.

My stereo cost me 0$, speakers and all.

All sound is handed down or leftovers when others bought other stuff, the stuff was dusting about until I took use of it.

This is my HTPC, PC & Stereo corner.

I use 4 speakers for my 2channel stereo.

Why? The small top one is for middle and highs. The towers are for middle and lower frequencies. One tweeter was busted so I disconnected it on both and used the bookshelf for the highs instead. They are actually wall mountable.

Works OK. Actually sound is horrible each on their own, when combined they beat the single pairs by lengths.

I have 2 other pairs of working 3-ways but this 4speaker 2channel getup sounds better than those. I tried many combos. This was best whit what I had available.

Decent sound on a super cheap budget.

A close up on the towers. The wall-mountable bookshelf is labelled "Picture 13"

Here's mine until I get the dedicated room finished in the basement.

Speakers are the BPT Cirrus which I build and designed. Amp is a D-Sonic 1000 that has all sorts of internal modifications done by Chris at BPT. The USB/Digital convertor is a Emperical Audio Off-Ramp 3, incredible piece! DAC is a Xindak DAC-5, and a BPT CPC for power distribution. All the room treatments are from GIK ... the stand mount ones I put some red LED lights on the back for a nice effect. The wall outlet is a dedicated 20A circuit using 10ga Romex with a Furutech wall plate.

All audio is streamed from a laptop using Foobar.

I wanted the red glow to show so I took this picture handheld with my 12-24mm lens, and a 1/2 sec exposure ... no flash. It's a bit dark and soft, but best I could do for a quickie without setting up the tripod.

And yes, I know the rug needs to go

yes, I know it doesn't look like a stereo setup, but it actually is a pretty kick ass 2channel + Streaming High Res streaming lossless setup

SS, isn't that an older pic? Have you made any changes to your system other than the slim?
