I have to say back a few years ago I ram a Musical fidelity B-1 integrated amp. The B-1 had a whopping 35 watts per channel. I was running Spica TC-50's. The bottom end of the Spica's were augmented by a Vandersteen 2W. It was magic to my ears.

I miss my B-1

I am very happy with the Yamaha RX-V371 that is doing yeoman duty in my 2.1 system. Pining for fancy electronics is very old school. What I would like to do is add some effective acoustic treatments and whip the room into shape.

Unfortunately, even with my dealer accomodation price, it still costs more than my Acura...

Dream amps for my dream theater would be a stack of ATI. I'd settle for a stack of identically sounding emotiva, but even I'm nit immune from spec envy.
