I am looking at picking up a Harman Kardon HK3490 stereo receiver for a 2 channel setup which I will be sourcing with the latest Apple TV via optical cable and feed a set of bang and olufsen 45.2 speakers. Optimally I would like to keep the receiver powered on all the time so that I can stream music via AirPlay from anywhere in the house without having to power the receiver on. Anyone know with this configuration when the AppleTV is NOT playing music if the HK3490 receiver will automatically enter lower power standby mode? And presumabely wake from standby when the AppleTV starts sending music.

After you turn it on it stays on until you shut it off. It does have a 90 minute sleep timer.
