I got a pair of these headphones last night. They are awesome (and still yet to be broken in)! I have an AMP/DAC on the way and will get it late next week so I'm sure to be blown away all over again. They sound fantastic plugged in to my Denon AVR (but then they would there anyway).

I don't see any forums talking about them being available so I thought I'd put the word out.

Where did you get them from? Pics?

I'm more partial to the AH-D5000. The wood cups looked so good, they sound fantastic as well. I wish I would have kept my pair. frown.gif

Crutchfields got a first shipment...they are close with Denon and Marantz apparently. The 7100's have the wood cups as well. There are pics on the Internet. Mine look just like them.

Thought I would add I purchased a desktop AMP/DAC from Headroom to drive these headphones. I use them at work and my computer cannot drive them on its own. These are the first high end phones I have ever had so I cannot contrast and compare with others of the same caliber. But I can say they are very clean, clear, and you hear everything without one range overwhelming the others. You also hear old music as if for the first time. I honestly have trouble staying focused on work at times because of the wow factor. And they are still not broken in yet!
