The article gets kudos for quoting people like Tom Nousiane and Rod Elliott who have their heads screwed on pretty tight. However IMO it gives up a little too much to areas of false technocracy like slew rate. I find discussion of the relative sound quality of power amps that are clipping to completely miss the point - it is now economical to simply obtain amplifiers that never clip in actual use.
