Please comment with a short review of your initial impressions on the xls2000. I so want to read your impressions, because I'm about ready to pull the trigger on an xls1000 or xls1500.

If you have a Chameleon or Synergy cabinet from Salamander you shouldn't be having over heating issues unless the amp isn't getting enough space above it to breath. Salamander also offers active cooling fans that attach to the back of those cabinets to keep your stuff cool. That way if your happy with that amp you don't need to get a different one.

I've got maybe 2 hours of listening into the system now and all I can say is WOW!!

The crown was an excellent buy. I can't hear the fan at all. It pushes the speakers wonderfully.

I put on a record by Dave Hause and it sounded like I was sitting in front of him while he played the piano. I was blown away. I can't wait to get deeper into the system

Ohhhh. And this is all sans sub. I have to hook that up still
