Is creek just like a Music Hall, but more powerful and bigger transformers?

Creek and Music Hall amplifiers are both very good; they have well-designed high-capacity power supplies that can deliver enough peak current to drive most loudspeakers well with no distortion to speak of.

They are both better-sounding than most Cambridge or NAD amplifiers, and even THEY are much better-sounding than 90% of the HT receivers with their wimpy cheapazz power supplies that make the amplifiers run out of gas when peak current is required to the speakers.

From what I understand, they are quite different. MH imports Creek, but I think it ends there. The dimensions alone show major differences. Why would a MH amp be double the height for no reason?
I don't think this is a MH/Pro-ject situation. MH also imports some other stuff, like Bellari

Focal, Pro-Ject, Cambridge Audio, Polk, AKG, Bose, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Panasonic, Apple, AudioQuest, Monster, Sonos...
For specifics, check my profile.

While "amplfiers runing out of gas" is quite emotive and poetic, it describes a physical occurrence (clipping) that shows up in technical tests and reliable listening tests, if it happens.

Do you have any such evidence, or are you just making up colorful poetry for people's fun and entertainment?
