I am starting an analog setup to get the vinyl quality. I need help though picking out a phono preamp since my AVR doesn't have a phono input. I am not looking to go crazy with since I am trying to save money for some new speakers for my 2 channel rig. What do you think is the best bang for your buck for under say...$50?

Under $50 is not a price range that will get you very good performance IMO.

The Bellari VP-29 is around $75, and seems to perform fairly well.

www.phonopreamps.com. I have a sub-$50 model from them that works just fine.
